pink saturday :: wrapping paper

needed to wrap something for a little girl.
i spotted these pink papers.
these are rejects from my brother's printing press.
i asked him to bring me some rejects
for the kiddos to doodle and cut.
but hey, it is pink !
i sure can use it to be creatively frugal.
so i taped 4 pieces together and wrapped the gift like this...
cut several circles and did this...
and this...
placed a tape at the back...

and voila!

i think that turned out pretty neat.
what do you think?

in time for the season of hearts,
a heart shaped tag can be used instead of circles.
Happy Pink Saturday!

Please visit Bev at How Sweet the Sound for more pink goodies.
And let's show the power of pink by way of leaving a comment
to two very special pink saturday posts over at Bev's
and Kelee's The Katillac Shack.
It's for a worthy cause.

Happy Pink Saturday~! I think it's absolutely clever! Why not reuse? That was a lot of waste. Thanks for sharing.

Well, if that isn't clever. I don't have access to a brother with a printing press but I'll sure keep my eyes peeled for fun ways to wrap!

I ♥ to come here on Pink Saturday. Your blog is always so sweet and comforting. Cold and gloomy winter up here this year so Pink Saturday is one day I can always count on for a little pink ray of sunshine.

Thanks for being my pink sunshine today☺

Wishing you the comfort and warmth of those you love this weekend.

Hello Bette,

Way to recycle pink paper! :-) Enjoy tinganan yun mga bagay na para sa ibang purpose pero gawin na iba ulit kagaya nung shoulder pads to potholders! :-)

(Bette pwede ka pa magparticipate sa One World One Heart. Until Feb 8 yung submission nag link post :-) Ako nga late din)
